Chinese Poetry Gallery is provided by Lee. This policy explains how the app handles data and what happens when you choose to contact support.

Reading data and advertising

Chinese Poetry Gallery does not require an account. Favourites, reading history, poem content and reading settings are used only on your device and are not sent to the developer or advertising service. The app uses Google AdMob for interstitial and native library-list ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable privacy choices.

The ad SDK may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and crash and performance diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This version requests non-personalised ads, disables publisher first-party ID and does not request permission for cross-app tracking. Non-personalised ads still involve this data processing.

Ads and privacy choices

When permitted by your privacy choices, ad requests may begin on first use. Clearly labeled native ads may appear in the Library. Interstitial ads may appear when returning from reading to the Library after the reading and interval conditions have been met. Ads do not interrupt reading, page turns or narration. You can continue reading when offline, when no ad is ready or when privacy conditions are not met. Where applicable, UMP obtains the required privacy choices before ad requests. When available, change these choices under Ad privacy choices in Reading settings. Local frequency records of ad counts and reading time remain on this device.

Records stored on your device

The app stores saved poems, reading status, reading position and preferences on this device. These records are not sent to the developer; the current version has no account-based cloud sync. You can change preferences and saved poems in the app. Deleting the app may remove its local data. iOS backup and restoration depend on your system settings and backup service.

Offline content and narration

Poems, illustrations and narration files are included in the app. Narration is AI-synthesized audio prepared before release. The running app does not call Azure or other online speech services, upload what you read or record sound using the microphone.

Saving and sharing poetry cards

When you choose to save or share a poetry card, the app creates an image locally and sends it to the destination you select through the iOS share sheet. Saving may require permission to add photos; the app does not read your photo library. A third-party app or service receiving a shared image handles it under its own privacy policy.

Support email

If you email support, the recipient and email provider process the address, message and attachments you supply. The developer uses them only to reply, investigate and handle your request, not for advertising or sale. Please provide only what is needed to resolve the issue. You may request deletion of support emails at the same address, except where retention is legally required.

Permissions and third-party services

The app does not request location, contacts, camera or microphone access and has no push notification service. App Store downloads, payment account management where applicable, and system diagnostics or backups are provided by Apple under its policies; these are not data collection features integrated by this app.

Support website hosting

The support site is hosted by GitHub Pages and adds no analytics scripts, ads, cookies or online forms. GitHub records visitors' IP addresses for security; see GitHub's privacy statement for details. Visiting the support site is separate from offline reading in the app.
